Kevin On Writing…

Writing is an essential creative outlet to me. I don’t see it as any less important than painting, designing, sculpting, or even basket weaving. There is a level of skill involved that needs to be nurtured and practiced to create something people can relate to and hold some emotional kinship with.

There’s a story in everything we create as artists. There exists the backstory of another world, another perspective, behind it all. It’s the influence, the inspiration that created the piece. That’s the outlet. That’s the expression we need to have a voice when others don’t seem to understand.
